Greetings,
Due to the necessity to upgrade older software for both bug fixes and functional increases as well as popular request, we\'ve decided to upgrade the version of PHP on your server from 5.0.5 to 5.2.5.
As such, some scripts that are older and not fully upgraded may lose some functionality. You can rectify this by ensuring that your scripts are the updated to their latest version. If you\'ve installed the script via Fantastico, you can update it there, otherwise you may want to visit the developer website for the absolute latest version.
The upgrade is scheduled as follows:
SERVER: 72.9.235.10 (Heat)
DATE: Wednesday, January 16th 2009
UPGRADE WINDOW: 11:00pm -> 12:00am EST
DOWNTIME: No downtime is expected. There may be a brief Apache service outage (under 30 seconds) once Apache is restarted to advance to PHP 5.2.5
REASON: We are upgrading the PHP version on this server from PHP 5.0.5 to the latest stable version of PHP 5.2.5
